How it works: The 240V AC input is converted to multiple 12V DC outputs (9 or 17) with a total current output of 10 or 20 Amps, depending on the model. The nine channel model has eight ports fused at 2A each plus one port fused at 4A and can supply a total load of 10A. The 17 channel model has 16 ports fused at 2A each and also the extra 4A port, and can supply a total load of 20A.

The green LED lights show that your channels are working. If a channel is overloaded the green light goes out. But a clever PTC self-resetting fuse, on each port, prevents full system overload by disconnecting only the overloaded channel. Once the load is removed, the fuse resets and the port becomes immediately useable again.
